The Connectivity Algorithm is an open system installation and interactive experience exploring the idea of connectivity in the contemporary context. Using the algorithm, each visitor can create customised geometric patterns through a simple sequential series of shutter rotations determined by their answers to a set of questions. The Connectivity Algorithm is being shown first at the grand entrance to the V&A museum in South Kensington, London.

Below are examples of 4 types which are the result of answering the questions and rotating the shutters. These four types represent four mindsets: digital, analogue and two mixtures. Each of the patterns then transform further by the status of shutters : open or closed. More open shutters represents a more disconnected mindset.
